Art show illustrates the influence of water |

Four artists who describe themselves as students of the ever-changing tides have collaborated on a show that will open on June 22 at the Burgwin-Wright House. The opening reception for “The Influence of Water” by Ann Hair, Barbara Bear Jamison, Gale Smith and Jenny McKinnon Wright will take place from 6-9 p.m. as part of downtown’s Fourth Friday Gallery Walk. The show runs through July 21.
Hair, Jamison, Smith and Wright all work in oils and often paint together en plein air. They find abundant inspiration in local environs from the river to the sea.
