Burgwin-Wright Receives Landfall Grant |

The Burgwin-Wright House received a grant of $1,921.50 from the Landfall Foundation to support “People of the Past”, an annual program provided free of charge to every fourth grade class in the New Hanover County School system. The program focuses on U.S. history during the colonial era and provides students with a living history experience that reinforces what they learn in the classroom. NSCDA-NC President Margaret Hamilton and Executive Director Joy Allen accepted the grant on behalf of the Burgwin-Wright House at a ceremony on November 3. More News... |
